General information

The Hotel Portonuovo is placed in the omonimous bay, one of the most beautiful of Gargano, about 4 km south of Vieste on the coast road to Pugnochiuso and few steps away from the private beach of golden fine sand. The hotel has been entirely reconstructed and widened in 2004. It has 56 rooms and 42 three-rooms Villettas, harmoniously integrated in the green of a pinewood of about 20.000 sqm which surrounds the structure. The hotel has been thought for who loves vacations in liberty and autonomy without abdicating to an elegant environment and at the same hospitable and comforting time. With its strategic position, the hotel is the base of ideal departures for trips and excursions to the centre of Vieste, to the enchanting Sea Caves, to the Tremiti Islands, to the National Park of the Gargano, to archaeological site of La Salata, to Monte Sant’Angelo, San Giovanni Rotondo and others.

Half Olympic Pool with jacuzzi, two bars, game park for children. In the restaurant, provided with air conditioning, can be tasted dishes of the best apulian and marine cuisine in a concert of perfumes and typical tastes of the best Mediterranean tradition. Private sandy beach equipped with sun umbrellas and sunbeds, only 100 meters far from the hotel can be reached using a pedestrian crossing. Guided excursions on request. 42 three-rooms villas, ideal for families of 4/5 persons, located in a pinewood of about 20.000 sqm. Each villa consists of a living room, one double bedroom, one bedroom with two single beds, private bathroom with shower, large covered equipped veranda. All the villas are provided with air conditioning with individual temperature setting, refrigerator, safe, telephone, television with satellite channels. Distances: 20 to 50 metres from the main Hotel structure; 60 metres from the private beach.
